STEM Center USA, Inc. (as used in the Privacy Policy as "STEM Center USA, "us," or "we") is committed to maintaining the privacy of your information. We respect and share your concern about your privacy and the privacy of your children. This notice explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the information you provide us. By accessing this website and/or enrolling your child at our STEM Center USA locations, you consent to the following terms described below.
What Information Do We Collect
The personal information we receive has been provided to us by you, typically when you register on our website or enroll your child at one of our locations.
Enrollment at STEM Center USA Location
STEM Center USA operates two Locations in Claremont and Rancho Cucamonga. When you enroll your child at a center, the Director will ask you to fill out an online application form, asking for your name, address, telephone number, email address, a second contact, and/or emergency contact. It will also ask for your child's name, date of birth, current grade, schooling status (homeschool, charter, private, public), and any other information necessary to serve your child's education needs. This information is input into a STEM Center USA management system. During your child's enrollment at our center, we will collect information about your child's course progress.
This information helps us support your child's lessons, learning goals, and report capabilities shared with you, the parent/guardian, during check-ins. Having this information allows STEM Center USA to improve instructional methods, learning materials, and instructor trainings.

Suppose you request information through our website or schedule a parent orientation at our Center. In that case, you will be asked to provide your name, email address, phone number (optional), and location preference. We collect and store this information to communicate with you and send you the orientation information you have requested. We will use this information to send you a reminder email and text as your orientation date approaches.
If you request our newsletter through the website, you will be asked to provide your name and email address. We may use this information to send you various marketing information periodically.
STEM Center USA also collects from visitors to our websites non-personal-identifying information that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as browser type, language preference, date, and time of each visitor request. We cannot use this information to identify, distinguish or trace you or your device, even if combined with other identifying formations. This data is used anonymously, sometimes aggregated with other anonymous data about other users, to analyze the experience of visiting our websites.
Emails and Social Media Sites
If you correspond with us by email, mail or via social media, we may retain the content of your communication or social media posting, the email or social media account address from which it is sent, and our response. We use your Personal Information to allow you to receive orientation schedules and reminders, request Information from specific programs, receive email updates containing news or camp/center schedules, and reserve a class time for your child.

- Fulfillment of the contractual obligation of STEM Center USA and its Instructors to provide educational enrichment to your child after enrollment at one of our Centers;

STEM Center USA may disclose personal information to its employees, contractors, Instructors, and affiliates that: (1) have a need to know the information in order for STEM Center USA to provide educational enrichment service to your child, (2) have agreed not to disclose any personal information to others, and (3) have been fingerprinted, background checked, and approved to work with students in K-12. By enrolling your child at STEM Center USA, or by the use of our website, you consent to the transfer of personal information.
STEM Center USA will not distribute or share any electronically collected personal information about users to any third party without prior written permission from the user except in narrow circumstances involving possible violations of Section 502 of the Penal Code or as authorized under law (including but not limited to the Information Practices Act), or to assist another state agency or public law enforcement organization in any case where the security of a network operated by a state agency has been, or is suspected of having been, breached.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the Personal Information you provide to us against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. This includes our encryption of any data we transmit to third parties as described in this Privacy Statement. However, while we exercise what we believe to be appropriate standards and safeguards, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. How We Protect Your Child’s Privacy
Your child's privacy is important to us. As a result, we operate our website in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
We never intentionally collect or maintain any Personal Information about anyone under the age of 13, other than as needed to enroll children in a STEM Center USA Location, to obtain appropriate information to plan and assess your child's progress at a STEM Center USA location, or to process information regarding enrollment and participation. STEM Center USA's management practices conform to the requirements of the Public Records Act (California Government Code Section 6250, et seq.) and other applicable laws about information privacy.

Google Analytics
One tool we use is "Google Analytics," a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. to collect information about the use of the Sites. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit our Sites, what pages are visited, and what other sites were visited before coming to our Sites. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve the Sites. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the websites, rather than your name or other identifying information. Google Analytics will also collect contextual information, such as web browser, type of operating system, browser resolution, and network location. However, we do not combine the data collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. If you are an international visitor to our website, please be aware that the laws governing data collection and usage may differ from those you are located.
