Introducing PiBot

STEM Center USA introduces a new robot, PiBot. PiBot gets its name from the pi shaped chassis of the robot which was made by laser cutting.  PiBot uses Arduino compatible microcontroller. Arduino is an open source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino is the most popular microcontroller used in all college level robotics courses in the US and abroad.

FLL Team Sprocketeers wins Core Values Event at Mt. Sac. This is an all girls team consisting of Zaina, Aileen, Alicia, Johanna and Hannah.

A New Center in Madurai, a city in Southern India

Madurai is one of the oldest cities and the recorded history goes back to third century BC. Madurai is also closely associated with Tamil Language, as all three primary congregations (known as Tamil Sangams) of Tamil scholars were held in this city between 1700 BCE and third century CE.

Robotics at Top Learning Center, Chino Hills

Top Learning Center in Chino Hills is hosting a 9 hour robotics camp for STEM Center USA. This camp is held on Friday mornings from 9:30 AM - 12:30 AM on June 28 and July 12 and 19. We are so excited to partner with Top Learning Center and reach these awesome students!

TIPS South Hill Academy Summer Program

Today we launched our 5 week summer program at TIPS South Hill Academy in beautiful West Covina! We have students from local cities participating such as Chino Hills and Arcadia. We are especially excited to bring "Jr. STEM" to South Hill Academy. We have done in-school programs at TIPS SHA for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for the last two years and after-school programs for 3rd-5th graders as well. This July 2013 marks the beginning of our K-2nd grade program at this awesome school!
